And I once wrote a short story where the character wakes up and the story starts right there. I'm not sure why this would be a problem.Julia Honeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08497316179340178624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162697787444358072.post-84094933260846537672011-02-22T11:53:07.830-05:002011-02-22T11:53:07.830-05:00I think you need to figure out what works for you....I think you need to figure out what works for you. Great advice about following your heart. I tend to overthink everything. I think I may try to plough this one tough upcoming scene. It may be enough to get the writing flowing again. And if it doesn't, I'll move to this new project for a while. Thanks :)Suzie F.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09560250678212373878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162697787444358072.post-23977944435062800332011-02-21T21:22:09.040-05:002011-02-21T21:22:09.040-05:00Donna, you amaze me with how fast you crank out yo...Donna, you amaze me with how fast you crank out your WiPs! I guess my main concern is losing my character focus. If I switch to a new WiP will I be able to return to the other and still know my characters and how they would react?

Thanks for your advice!Suzie F.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09560250678212373878noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162697787444358072.post-24412217907735056582011-02-21T21:15:51.191-05:002011-02-21T21:15:51.191-05:00I don't worry too much about rules most of the...I don't worry too much about rules most of the time. I tend to follow my heart and see where it takes me. I like to work on one project at a time, but there are also times when I need a break and want to let the story work around in my subconsciousness. Then I work on something else :)Jemi Fraserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02214408467456320167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6162697787444358072.post-37567462696254860952011-02-21T02:16:47.577-05:002011-02-21T02:16:47.577-05:00Ack, sorry Suzie but I can't help with this on...Ack, sorry Suzie but I can't help with this one.
